• Photomultiplier Tube(PMT)

Microchannel Plate Photomultiplier Tube (MCP-PMT) mainly consists of a photocathode, a microchannel plate multiplication system and an anode. The multiplication system contains a single or multiple microchannel plates. When the weak light signal passes through the photocathode, it will excite the photoelectrons, which will be transported to MCP for multiplication under the near-focusing electric field or the classical focusing electric field. Finally, the amplified electronic signal will be received by the anode and output through the signal line, so as to realize the detection of single photon and other weak signals.

The Dynode Photomultiplier Tube (PMT) has the characteristics of high quantum efficiency, low background pulse ratio, fast time response, etc. Using Sb-K-Cs as photocathode, PMT enjoys very high quantum efficiency. With metal dynode as electron amplifier, the gain could reach 106 after 10 level multiplication. Besides, it also enjoys superior temporal response thanks to compact structure. At present, We are in a position to supply custom-made PMT upon your special requirements.
