Micro Pore Optic with Sector

Micro Pore Optic with Sector is a kind of grazing incidence optical element, which can focus X-ray and ultraviolet light. MPOS have several millions of square shape glass pore in micron scale and the square pores are stacked in radial geometry. In order to obtain the best focusing performance, the inner wall could be coated with increasing reflective film with different film materials for different application bands. MPOS could be assembled to a conic optical system approximation to Wolter-I optics. This radially packing geometry has several advantages, such as larger effective versus geometry area ratios, light weight and working under higher energy than normal Wolter optics.
