CMZ-05 thermal imager adopts cooled mid-wave infrared 640x512 detector module, with continuous zoom function. The wide field of view is used for observation and search, while the narrow field of view is used for target recognition. It can be continually used at all day and night and providing the crew with long-range observation, targeting and firing in bad weather. The thermal imager is a standard component and can be used in most Army's tracked/wheeled reconnaissance vehicles by changing the mechanical interface.
